I understand that when they are older they're going to need one more often than that but until then we moms need a break and so does our babies skin. I also hate giving baths. It takes so much time and you really can't leave them for even a minute. I'd be in a whirl of trouble if I left my kids in the bath. They both have so much energy that I know they'd hurt themselves! When my hubby comes home from work to take a shower we usually let the kids take a shower with him since they're all boys. After they're all washed up and the nasties are rinsed down the drain my hubby plugs the tub for them to play and splash for 10-15 minutes. This gives me a little 'mommy time'. I also love that all their splashes don't make a huge wet mess since the shower curtain remains pulled. As for the drain you might be able to pick up a simple drain cover at your local hardware store. I believe I've seen them at Ace Hardware but I'm not sure if Ace is located where you are :) Enjoy mommyhood!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
